Nymi recommends that you use a enrollment terminal machine that is dedicated to each environment, to avoid misconfigurations and incorrect enrollments.
If you must re-use the enrollment terminal in different environments such as Development, Quality and Production, review the following information.
Note: These steps apply to the following configuration scenarios only:
- A Nymi without Evidian configuration
- The Nymi Band Application is installed on a Citrix host.
- The user who logs into Windows is a single domain user who also logs into the Nymi Band Application.
On the enrollment terminal, perform the following steps:
- Run regedit.exe and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Nymi\NES.
- Edit the URL value and replace the NES hostname with the hostname for the new environment.
- Close regedit.exe.
- Edit the C:\Nymi\Bluetooth_Endpoint\nbe.toml file and replace the Nymi Agent hostname with the hostname for the new environment.
- Save the nbe.toml file.
- Restart the Nymi Bluetooth Endpoint service.
- In Windows File Explorer, navigate to the %appdata%\Roaming\Nymi\NSL folder.
- Delete the subfolders in the NSL folder.
- To perform an enrollment, ensure that each user that previous enrolled in the old environment logs into Windows and the deletes the subfolders in the %appdata%\Roaming\Nymi\NSL before starting the Nymi Band Application.
