Cleaning the Nymi Band 2.0

Follow these instructions about how to clean and sanitize the Nymi Band.

To clean a Nymi Band, apply warm soapy water with a brush or cloth. Rinse off the soap under gentle running water, then wipe the Nymi Band dry with a lint-free cloth. We recommend using hypoallergenic soap to prevent irritation from wearing the Nymi Band. If sanitation is required, use a 70% Isopropyl alcohol wipe to wipe down the Nymi Band. Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaning solutions (e.g. acetone, bleach) on the Nymi Band and the straps.

An IP rating defines the levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against substances such as dirt and moisture. The Nymi Band has an IP-65 Ingress Protection rating, which means that it is dust tight and protected against showering and hand washing.
