Enabling Evidian Logging

Perform the following steps to enable logging in Evidian.

Nymi does not recommend that you leave the Debug option enabled indefinitely as debug mode can generate many log entries.

  1. Launch regedit.exe.
  2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Enatel\WiseGuard\.
  3. Rename _Debug to Debug.
  4. In the properties of the Debug folder review the value in the TraceDir attribute, which defines the location of the log files.
    The default log file location is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Evidian\WGSS\Logs.

  5. Close regedit.exe.
  6. Restart the Enterprise Access Management Security Services service.
  7. Navigate to the log file directory and confirm that log files appear in the folder.
